Thank you and Welcome

I want to Welcome everyone stopping by from Sew We Quilt @ Stash Manicure! It was a nice surprise to wake up this morning to lots of comments and ideas!!

And I wanted to thank all my regular readers, bee ladies, and Flickr friends for the support you have given me to make this AIDS Walk quilt for the fundraiser!  You can read HERE about my project if you might be interested in donating a cross block!

My kids are helping me with the layout of the blocks...I think we might be playing with these for a few days.

  2. I loved your project over on SM this morning! How do you find time to quilt with two little cuties under your care? Good for you! I must try your technique. My scrap basket grows overnight and I haven't figured out how yet...

  5. I think the kids are doing a fine job on block layout - are they for hire? Willing to sent them to MN? Saw you on Stash Manicure - love working with scraps, but sometimes you feel they are multiplying while you are sleeping!

  19. Love, love love your posting at stash manicure! What a great idea, the finished product reminds me of the quilts made by homesteaders, where every scrap of materia was so very precious!
My dominant colours seem to be reds and oranges with blue bring up the rear!

  34. Hi, from the Stash Manicure post :D Your idea for scraps is great! One could do the same with using a monochromatic theme--that would be a great way to create 'new' fabrics to use in applique or.....
