I read on Randi's blog that she was collecting skirt's for children in Haiti. Im sorry to post about this so late, because Monday, March 12th is the deadline to get the skirts in...but Im happy to report I got 2 skirts done.
I have never made a skirt before. I have never made any article of clothing before. I had pretty much given up on getting a skirt done for this good cause...then I got an email from Sarah and she directed me to a skirt from a pillowcase tutorial. THIS I can do!

ReplyDeletegreat job, Jenny!
ReplyDeleteGreat work! I hate sewing clothes but flannel jammie pants for kids are an awesome project. It's a yard or two of fabric, two pieces pattern pieces and some elastic. Voila!
ReplyDeleteYour skirts are adorable! You're a sweetie to make them for Randi. I hope you loved making them -- looks like your little girl wants one for her very own LOL!
